from the Lower Barn
Olney Farm and the Shriver-Howard family joined together in 1855. Since then, the farm has remained in the same family. In 1920, a pony breeding business was started by the youngest, a daughter, in the family. Boarding, lessons, breeding and training has gone on continuously since then. The fourth, fifth and sixth generations of the family live on the farm. The farm has always been managed by a member of the family.
