Rascal was put down Friday, November 27, 2009 after the vets were almost positive he had a very rare disease called Polyneuritis equi (PNE). I have decided to start a fundraiser in his name over the time period of a year. I will hand a check over in Rascals name on his one year anniversary of his death. The money will go towards a study for this rare disease. My goal is to raise $10,000. I know that is a lot of money but with my determination and help from friends and family I know I can do it. I would do anything to ride Rascal just one more time, he was my everything; but doing this is giving me comfort -- he died for a reason.
